Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using the edge. platform (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. This document is a template and should be reviewed by a legal professional before publication.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older and authorised to act on behalf of any business account you create.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• One account per user; sharing login credentials is prohibited.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial communications in violation of applicable law (including PECR and GDPR).
• Scrape, export, or redistribute contact data for resale or to build a competing product.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract source code or proprietary models.
• Use the Service in a manner that disrupts or degrades platform performance.
• Use data obtained through the Service for any purpose other than legitimate recruitment business development.

4. Subscription and billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly in GBP (or your agreed currency) in advance.
• Free trials grant limited access and expire automatically; no charge is applied unless you upgrade.
• You can upgrade or downgrade at any time; changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
• Volume limits and plan caps are enforced as described on the pricing page.
• Refunds are at our discretion; contact support@getedgeiq.com for billing queries.

5. Data and content

You retain ownership of any data you upload (e.g. account preferences). Enriched contact data is provided under third-party data-provider licences; your use of that data is subject to those providers' terms and applicable data-protection law. We retain a licence to use aggregated, anonymised data to improve our services.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, and events outside our control may cause downtime. Signal delivery schedules are targets, not guarantees.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its branding, scoring algorithms, and interface are the intellectual property of edge. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service without written consent.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, edge. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of revenue, data, or business opportunity. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to the Service. Upon termination, your access ends immediately and data is retained per our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
